Website Privacy Notice
This notice covers the metabola.io website only — the pages you are reading right now. Our apps are covered by their own policies, which you will find in the policy index.
It is a short notice because the site does very little.
1. What We Collect
One thing: your email address, and only if you type it into the waitlist form yourself. Nothing else on this site collects information about you.
We do not run analytics on this website. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies, we do not embed tracking pixels, and we do not fingerprint your browser or device. We do not buy information about you or receive it from data brokers.
The site loads a web font from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers see your IP address as part of serving that file — the same as any other resource your browser requests. We do not send Google anything about you beyond that request.
2. Why We Collect It
Solely to email you when an app you signed up for becomes available, and to tell you about new apps from Metabola LLC. That's it. We do not sell your email address, we do not rent or share it for anyone else's marketing, and we do not use it to build a profile about you.
3. Who Processes It
- Netlify — our website host. Netlify serves these pages and stores waitlist form submissions on our behalf, under contract, and only according to our instructions.
That is the complete list. No one else receives your email address.
4. How Long We Keep It
Until you ask us to delete it, or until the waitlist it belongs to has served its purpose and we retire it — whichever comes first.
5. Your Choices
Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe. You can also ask us at any time to delete your email address, and we will, no questions asked. Write to support@metabola.io. We will not discriminate against you for asking.
6. Relationship to Our App Policies
Joining the waitlist does not create an app account, and your email address on the waitlist is kept separately from any app data. If you later install one of our apps, that app's own privacy policy governs everything you do inside it. For Cal Counter, that is the Cal Counter Privacy Policy and the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
7. Children
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
